Community Day of Mindfulness

Twice a year the Southern Maryland Meditation Community offers a Day of Mindfulness to our community. The day includes a variety of mindfulness practices such as walking and sitting meditation, mindful eating, mindful movements, and a special workshop. In the past, the workshops have been mindful art,  creating mandalas and prayer beads.  We learn how to incorporate mindfulness into our daily activities, and connect with other people and community who share an interest in mindfulness.  This is a free event and donations will be gratefully accepted for The Labyrinth Project.
